The head branch
Every sweet the company sells is made here and nowhere else. Milk arrives before 5 AM, the first delivery run leaves at 7, and the second goes out mid-afternoon. It is a production kitchen, not a shop — but it is the reason every counter tastes the same.
Not open to the public. For bulk orders, factory visits or supplier enquiries, please contact us first.
Sit down with a plate
Seven of our counters have seating — a plate of sandesh, a cup of tea, and somewhere to put them down.

Why every counter tastes the same
Nothing is made at a counter. Everything is made in Balaju, loaded into insulated crates and driven out — the first run before the stores open, the second in the afternoon so the evening trade is as fresh as the morning.
04:30
Milk in
Buffalo milk from Kavre reaches the kitchen. Split, drained and set before six.
07:00
First run
Crates leave Balaju for all twelve counters. Doors open as they arrive.
15:00
Second run
Whatever sold out that morning is replaced, made fresh in between.
Good to know
New Road, Durbar Marg, Thamel, Lazimpat, New Baneshwor, Pulchowk and Bhaktapur all have seating. The rest are counter and takeaway only. You can reserve a table at any of the seated stores.
Almost. Everything comes off the same trays in Balaju, so the range is identical — but the smaller counters carry less of each and sell out earlier. If you want something specific, ring ahead in the morning.
Not without arrangement — it is a working production kitchen under food-safety rules, not a shop. For bulk orders and factory visits, contact us and we will arrange a time.
Durbar Marg, Maharajgunj and Kalanki have their own parking. For New Road and Thamel you are better off walking in — both are inside pedestrian-heavy stretches.
Reserve a table at any of our seated stores and we will keep it for you — fifteen minutes past the hour, longer if you ring.
